Proverbs 1                                                                                                

Good Morning my son.

If you remember the campaign for drinking milk this is my campaign for getting the word in each of us. "GW" stands for "Got Word?".

Here is what I got this morning.  Thought I'd share with u.

"Good morning son.

When u read Proverbs 1 this morning note how wisdom is coupled with discipline. Note that wisdom is all around you. Note the result of rejecting wisdom. Note how a lack of discipline - waywardness in vs 32 - results in death. And note the promise in vs 33. Be sure to write which verses leaped off the pages to you. Then take an inventory of your life.

Do you see areas where discipline is lacking? In those areas you will also find a lack of consistent success and wisdom. You will also find an area where if you do not change destruction is bound to occur. Fear God enough to look closely at yourself in spite of your fear of what you may find. Psalm 1 goes very well with Proverbs 1. Psalm 1 is one of my favorite. A good one to memorize.

Hope you enjoy your time with Him this morning. His promises are real and his mercies are new every morning. Where you found error in your life confess, receive his forgiveness and commit to walk forward. Where you found victory in your life confess your gratefulness for Him working in your life, receive His assurance to empower you to continue, and commit to continue to walk forward in the power of His might. An AWESOME way to begin the day!
